Hail and well met!

I go by Chiherah online, but you can call me Chi! I am a queer, non-binaryNon-binary: outside of the gender binary; not male or female; uses “they/them” pronouns. cosplayer, artist and coder. I work as a web and graphic developer for my day job, but my real love comes in the form of crafting.

I have always loved creating things with my hands, and when I found that I could bring my favorite characters to life and become those that mean a lot to me, I instantly fell in love with art & cosplay. I love to draw and create all sorts of things, like prints, keychains, pins and many other trinkets that I hope people may also enjoy!

Frequently Asked Questions

How long have you been an artist/cosplaying?

I have been drawing my entire life. I loved art for as long as I can remember, and all of my art classes in school were my favorite. I decided in 2019 to start taking my art to the next level, and turn it into a blossoming side business.

I have been cosplaying since 2005. My first sewn costume was Starfire from Teen Titans, but my first cosplay I wore to a con was Misa Amane from Death Note in 2007.

What cons do you go to?

I live in the Central Valley of California, United States, so I mainly go to California conventions. I have been to Anime North in Toronto, Canada once and have also been to Iowa for Anime Iowa. I would love to go to more conventions out of state and out of the country!

If you would like to see me at your local convention, feel free to ask your convention staff to invite me as a guest!

What kind of art do you make?

My favorite type of art is digital pieces. I like drawing fandom art, but I also am creating my own bunny series.

For crafts, I am dabbling in resin crafting, creating anything from gems to jewelry and key chains. I also sew, so I’m looking to soon add more things like bags, hats, and other accessories to my repertoire!
